Moreover, cancer cells need enzyme dihydrofolate reductase (DHFR) to build DNA and spread. EGCG will inhibit the DHFR and is effectively obstructing the grow of cancer cells.
Furthermore, EGCG could also speed up the recovery of damaged heart cells, and therefore allowing speedy recovery of tissues and reducing organs injury.
