Cruising above the undulating plains that host Africa's greatest wildlife retreat, the sight underneath is awesome. In a flash, a sizable herd of Zebras appear and from my window seat I add up probably hundreds of them grazing gracefully under the morning sun.
It had been an edifying forty-five minute flight from Nairobi, I think to myself as we are ushered into a four wheel land rover to take us to Cottars camp. Situated in graceful hills on a game concession adjacent to the Serengeti and the Masai Mara, the area around the camp guarantees seclusion and lots of wild animals providing the sense of an exclusive game park.

Time flies fast and in a while we turn back to take a return voyage to our camp having experienced a blistering first trip. The guide elevates our expectations when he outlines that after dinner later that evening, our exploration continues with a late evening game drive.
